Welcome back to another year of university! Whether you’re just starting out or you’re in your last year, I’m so excited to have you all here for another round of late-night study sessions, endless cups of coffee, stress crying (just kidding...) and, of course, making memories! For some of you, this will be your last experience in school! Can you imagine that you have spent your whole life in school and soon you are going to be done... forever? It's such a strange thing to wrap your head around. 

If you’re a freshman, welcome to the rollercoaster that is university life! I know it might seem a little overwhelming right now, but trust me, you’re going to find your groove. Just remember, everyone was new once, and it’s totally okay to not have everything figured out right away. You’ve got this!

Those of you in your second or third year will probably feel a bit more confident, but there’s always something new to learn and experience. Take this year to dive deeper into your interests, join that club you’ve been thinking about, or maybe even switch up your study routine—there’s no better time to shake things up a bit. Remember no matter how much you think your school journey will never end, it will eventually so take this opportunity and really live in it!

And to all the seniors, this is it! Your final year! I know it’s a mix of excitement and maybe a little panic, but you’ve made it this far, and that’s a huge accomplishment. Enjoy every moment, even the stressful ones, because you’re going to miss this craziness when it’s over- as I've heard from grads. 

This year, let’s all make a pact to stay on top of things. I know, I know, easier said than done, but seriously, let’s try to keep up with lectures, get those assignments done before the last minute, and maybe even squeeze in some time for ourselves. Whether you’re studying in your favorite corner of the library or from your bed (no judgment, I’ve been there too), let’s make this year count.

So, here’s to a fresh start and a year full of possibilities. Let’s crush it together! Welcome back, everyone!
