Reasons you should play PUBG from a nongamer
August 11, 2021
I have never been a gamer. Seriously, think about it, what is the point of staring at a screen for an extended period of time to win a game? What purpose does that serve in the grand scheme of things? I seriously thought the world of gaming opened the gates to unproductivity.
After being introduced to PUBG, my opinion changed. The problem was simply that I was never fully immersed in a game enough to understand how powerful it truly is. PUBG is a shooting game that allows solo or team play in which 100 players are dropped into an enclosed space where they must scavenge for weapons, medical supplies, and other resources to be the last player or team standing. Here are 5 reasons I think you should give it a chance!
1. PUBG allows for bonding time!
I have never found myself being more bored in my life than I have during quarantine. Luckily, instead of simply doing nothing, I can log onto this game and play with my friends, cousins, literally anyone who has an account. I greatly value the ability to play this game alongside my loved ones, speak with them through the microphone, and have a really good time. What’s great about having a team is how much farther you can go. If you are injured, your teammates are able to revive you and the game also provides first aid kits, energy drinks, and bandages along the way.
2. PUBG has taught me to be proactive.
While playing this game the goal is not only to have fun but as with any game, it is to win. How do you win? It is simple, you have to be the last person or team standing by defeating your opponents. In order to do this, you have to be on your feet and truly visualize your surroundings and strategize your moves. Are you going to throw a bomb? Okay, in what direction can you throw it so that your location is not exposed?
3. PUBG features incredible graphics.
Another reason why I have strayed away from games is because of the price tag! Luckily, PUBG is free and downloadable on your phone. However, users wishing to play on their desktop and/or Xbox One will have to pay a fee of $29.99. The user experience is brilliant considering that I am basically playing a version of Call of Duty if you will on my phone and that too for free.
4. You can drive vehicles in PUBG!
As the game features a shrinking circle around a playable area, one must be able to travel long distances fast. For this reason, you will discover vehicles along the way that you can drive. Did I mention you can also ride with your team and shoot at opponents simultaneously?
5. PUBG provides an intense gaming experience.
The game has been adjusted to mimic real-life simulation in which case outcomes are unpredictable. For this reason, players must always be on the lookout as danger can spur from anywhere. The game challenges one’s hand-eye coordination and reaction times therefore attentiveness is a must. This game provides quite the adrenaline rush!
PUBG is an excellent pass time and it has truly helped in relieving a lot of stress, bonding with my friends on the days we can’t physically meet up, and even bringing out my competitive edge! I would recommend you try it out!
