Rachel Lynds
Ridgeback Student Voices Crew
Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science
Rachel graduated and has left her Ridgeback Student Voices role but her content lives on!
My name is Rachel Lynds and I am in my fifth year of Mechanical Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Sciences. In my admittedly limited spare time, I enjoy volunteering and spending time outside. I am involved with several on-campus groups such as the Women in Engineering Peer Mentorship Program, Engineering Outreach, Peer Leader Program, Ambassador program, and as a Member of the Ridgeback Student Voices crew. I really enjoy sharing my passion for STEM! In fact, my love for STEM has taken me across the country and north of the arctic circle a handful of times to inspire the next generation of great thinkers and innovators. When I’m not volunteering, you can catch me hiking or camping and spending time with my dog!
